The watercolour medium is perfect for capturing the delicate features of small babies  I love capturing the essence of the newborn who is experiencing the world for the first time.

Family portraits are my most popular commissions.  This collection of custom orders represent gifts for birthdays, Mother's Day, Father's Day, anniversaries and Christmas.

Whether working from one of my own spontaneous photos or an old family photograph, this collection represents the individual everyday moments during a lifetime of love.

My favourite way to meditate is to take a deep breath and sit at the bottom of the pool.  I love the rippling patterns of the light diffusing through the water and the way everything on the surface becomes distorted.  I created this series to capture the feeling of floating through this underwater world.

Commissioned pet portraits make up a large portion of my orders.  Each pet's personality and energy are as unique as a human's.  I take great pleasure in capturing the essence of these four legged companions and best friends.

These famous icons have inspired and changed us.  My personal favourite projects have been my two portraits to date of Gord Downie, arguably one of the greatest Canadians.

I spent the first two months of 2017 backpacking around Africa and met some very interesting characters along the way.  Along the way I made several watercolour sketches which I then used to begin a larger studio series when I returned to Canada.

I begun a series of seascapes while living on Cape Breton Island in Nova Scotia.  Since I'd began my painting career with the wonderful West Coast ocean scenes in backyard, by beginning series I came full circle back to my first passion.
